Architects Take Shoes to New Heights with 3D Printing

United Nude, a shoe wear brand known for its creative and often eccentric designs, is opening a pop up shop in Milan. United Nude’s latest project is titled, “Re-Inventing Shoes,” and will run until April 19. The brand has previously collaborated with renowned Dutch designer Iris Van Herpen, and is similarly collaborating with architects and designers who are “five of the currently most celebrated” according to AFP. The project reimagines everything that we know to be true about the classic shoe and uses 3D-printing technology to bring to life products that are more sculpture than shoewear.
